Scores and stats

Sporting tracks every game live and keeps a deep statistical record around it, from the scoreboard down to individual pitches.

Live games

The scoreboard updates in real time. Opening a game shows the current state of play, including play-by-play, pitch tracking, a live bases display, and full box scores. Probable starters are listed before first pitch.

Game highlights

Finished games get a generated highlight story: a vertical, tap-through reel that recaps the key moments and performances of the game. Highlights are composed automatically from the game's real statistics and are available from the game's summary view.

Standings and leaders

League and division standings, stat leaderboards, and a team stat matrix cover the season-level picture. Leaderboards can be filtered by league and stat category.

Player pages

Every player has a page with:

  • Performance rating: a rolling score that summarizes recent form, updated as new games are played.
  • Game logs and trends: recent box-score lines and how key stats are moving over time.
  • Splits: performance broken down by situation.
  • Matchups: head-to-head views against specific opponents, including batter-versus-pitcher graphics.

Player and team comparison tools let you put any two side by side.

Ask

Ask answers stat questions written in plain language, such as who leads a division in a stat or how two players compare over a stretch of games. Answers are built from the same real data as the rest of the app and are shown with supporting numbers.

Watched games

You can mark any game as watched, and record whether you watched it live, as a replay, or in person. Your watched games appear on your public profile, so your viewing history works like a log you can share.
