Terms of Use

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service under the supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms. You represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are not barred from using the Service under applicable law.

Your Account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials (password, passkey, or linked sign-in) secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. One person may not maintain multiple accounts to evade limits, moderation, or rewards.

Caps (Virtual Currency)

“Caps” are a virtual, in-app currency used for fantasy games and social rewards. Caps:

• have no real-world monetary value and are not a bank deposit, e-money, or a substitute for currency;
• cannot be purchased with real money, sold, redeemed for cash, or transferred outside the Service;
• are a limited, revocable license to use a feature of the Service, not property you own;
• may be adjusted, expired, or reset — including for abuse, error correction, or discontinuation of a feature.

Nothing involving Caps is gambling, wagering, or betting. Sporting does not offer real-money betting, sports wagering, or pick’em contests, and you may not use the Service to do so.

Fantasy & Career Modes

Fantasy games, leagues, and Career mode are provided for entertainment. They are played with Caps and based on real player performance, but they are not a prediction service and involve no real-money prizes. Standings, payouts, and outcomes are determined by our rules and settlement logic, which we may change.

Paid Brand Features (Studio)

If you use Studio’s brand and advertising features, you may add real-money ad credit through Stripe and run sponsored content, subject to any additional terms and pricing shown at purchase. Ad credit is used to serve campaigns and is generally non-refundable except as required by law. You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of any advertising you run.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant Sporting a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content as needed to operate and promote the Service. This license ends when you delete your content, except for copies retained in backups or in others’ interactions (such as a repost or quote). You are solely responsible for your content and represent that you have the rights to post it.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, or obscene;
• post spam, scams, or misleading content, or manipulate rankings, votes, or rewards;
• harass, bully, impersonate, or threaten others;
• infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
• use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service, except as we expressly permit;
• attempt to breach security, access data you are not authorized to, or interfere with the Service;
• use the Service for gambling, wagering, or any real-money betting;
• exploit bugs to gain Caps, rewards, or unfair advantage; or
• violate any applicable law.

Moderation & Enforcement

We may review, remove, or restrict content and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without notice. The Service includes reporting and blocking tools; we may act on reports but are not obligated to. We are not responsible for content posted by users.

AI-Generated Content

Parts of the Service — including game highlights, AI reporter-bot posts, and AI search answers — are generated automatically using AI and real MLB data. AI output may contain errors and is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. Do not rely on it as professional advice.

Sports Data & League Affiliation

Scores, statistics, and other sports data are sourced from third-party providers (such as the MLB Stats API), and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Sporting is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any sports league, its clubs or teams, or any player. All league, team, and player names, logos, and marks are the property of their respective owners.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding (excluding user content and third-party marks), is owned by Sporting and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any data or AI output will be accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sporting and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, Caps, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sporting and its operators from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sporting operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
